Welcome to Mimico Cruising Club, we can accommodate visitors from reciprocating clubs with a maximum draft of ten feet. Slips have water and 30 amp power. Facilities include washrooms, showers, ice, picnic tables, gas barbecues, wifi, phone, fax, children's playground, pump out and laundry. Our licensed restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday in the summer for lunch and dinner, and also for breakfast on weekends.
The Club operates as a true reciprocal club, offering the same privileges and hospitality to a visitor as the visitor's club offers to our members. For visitors from a true reciprocal club, fees are waived. If the visitor's club's privileges are not known, the first night free with a $1.25/linear ft per night charge for subsequent nights. The maximum stay is seven nights in any 30 day period. Slips are available on a "first come" basis. Checkout time is noon. If you wish to stay longer, please see the Officer of the Day.
VHF channel 68 is monitored by the Officer of the Day or bar staff, so if you radio as you approach the harbour mouth, you may be able to go directly to an assigned slip. If you do not connect by radio, when you arrive, please tie up at the visitor's dock (the dock with the yellow stripe between B Dock and C Dock) and proceed to the restaurant area of the clubhouse to check in with the Officer of the Day or bar staff. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have and assign your slip. For recognition, please fly your club burgee and have your reciprocating card ready.
Please use bow, stern and spring lines. Tie halyards and lines away from your mast to reduce noise. You must advise the Officer of the Day if you plan to leave your boat unattended for more than eight hours. Unattended overnight mooring is permitted only in an emergency.
For our American visitors, when entering Canada from the U.S., you must report to Canada Customs. On arrival call 1-888-CANPASS.
Mimico Cruising Club is not responsible for loss or damage to private property and assumes no responsibility for personal injury anywhere on MCC premises or docks whether due to negligence of MCC or otherwise. This applies to vehicles of the boat owner, their crew, family and guests.
