New Year’s Day Levée

The Commodore’s reception is open to all members and is held every year.

FAMILY EASTER

The Easter Bunny is at this special event to ensure all the children are having a great time!  Examples of the entertainment may be clowns, crafts, songs, and of course, an egg hunt.

COMMODORE'S BALL

One of the first Club events after Launch, this is the most prestigious event of the year.  Normally, there is a reception followed by a grand dinner and dance.

Lobsterfest

Another early event is the ever popular Lobsterfest.  It requires multiple seatings to accommodate all who wish to attend.

The opening event for the sailing season is the traditional "Sailpast and Commodore's Fleet Review".  It is followed by a fun-filled reception on the patio.  An important June event for all members, with live entertainment provided by a variety of bands.

OKTOBERFEST

This is a full night with German-themed decor, entertainment and dinner, followed by a popular band that keeps everyone on the dance floor.

CHILDREN's christmas

Our family Christmas party may include a clown, crafts, songs, refreshments, and of course, Santa Claus is very popular.

NEW YEAR's EVE GALA

New Year's Eve includes everything you would expect at a spectacular event!  Need we say more?

MCC Book CLub

The MCC Book Club meets from September to May at the MCC Clubhouse in the evening.  A wide range of book topics are covered and a light dinner is served.  Some special nights include a discussion with the authors.

SEMINARS

During the winter and spring, safety and boating seminars are held covering topics such as CPR, crew overboard retrieval, marine radio operator's certificate, Toronto Harbour license and "rules of the road".

SPEAKER NIGHTS

Speaker Nights are also presented from time to time, covering a variety of themes.

FRIDAY NIGHT DINNERS and OCCASIONAL LIVE BANDS

Mimico's Friday Night Dinner specials are well known around the lake!  Dinner is often followed by a live band throughout the summer months and is well attended by both members and visitors to the Club.
