DEBENTURES

This is a system that enables all skipper-owners to invest in the club's capital cost of a wet or dry mooring. A debenture is required for a Senior "A" member to keep a boat at the club unless the boat is on a sub-leased dock. This debenture does not bear interest and is refundable upon termination of membership, providing that a buyer is  available.  More information on this subject can be found in the Information and Guide Booklet described at the top of this page.

FEE STRUCTURE

The fee structure is available from here.

WORK HOURS

The Work Hour Programme is designed to keep our cost structure and hence Members' fees, as low as possible. Senior "A", Senior "B", and Social "A" members with a berth, participate in the Work Hour Programme. Methods of earning work hour credits include helping with events, tending to facilities, and participating in work parties. Some services that do not require physical labour are reserved for mature members.

Members must work twenty-one hours per year between November 1 and October 31. Each hour is valued at a specific dollar amount and members who have not accumulated the 21 hours pay the difference in dollars. Required hours for members joining part-way through the season are pro-rated. Accumulated work hour credits may be carried forward to the following year and are recorded in a Monthly Statement Immediate family (spouse or children) may contribute work to a member’s account. However, the work parties tend to be a social occasion, enabling members to meet other members.

 CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES

Payment for food, bar or entertainment is by Chit. Members must provide a Visa or a MasterCard number that is kept on file, and debited at the end of each month for purchases.
